Follow Autobahn 1 from Hamburg to Puttgarden past Lübeck;
Exit 11 Oldenburg i.H. (South) take the B202 to Kiel-Lütjenburg for 15km;
in Kaköhl turn right toward Hohwacht and drive for 7km >> this road is currently closed!
Go ahead and follow the second sign to Hohwacht.
Once you reach the village, take the first left into Seestraße.

From here, please do not rely on your sat-nav, but instead use the following directions:
Drive downhill and follow the main road which bends to the left in front of the EDEKA supermarket;
Head towards Lippe and after 70m turn right across the cycle path at the large hotel sign.

From Kiel take bus 315 to Lütjenburg. Change here to bus 350 to Hohwacht; station Berliner Platz (57 minutes) | From Plön take bus 350 via Lütjenburg to Hohwacht; station Berliner Platz (45-60 minutes) | Oldenburg i. H. is currently not recommended due to constructions regarding the Fehmarnbelt tunnel.
